According to the United Nations around 25,000 people die each day due to hunger or causes related to hunger. Most of them are children.
There are approximately 850 million people undernourished (13% of the world population) and this number is still rising.

It’s a win-win relation: you learn a little bit about art, languages, math, geography and chemistry, and the site donates 100% (yes, 100%) of their income to the World Food Program of the United Nations thanks to the sponsors’ support.
Since its creation in October 2007, the site has fed more than 2 million people worldwide.
